Who am I?
Hi, I’m Alexa England, a data scientist and machine learning engineer with a background in electrical and computer engineering. I’m passionate about AI, data analysis, and automation to solve complex problems and build innovative solutions.
I’m currently pursuing my B.S. in electrical and computer engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in data science and information processing. My experience includes working with NASA (ASRC Federal) to develop LLM-powered telemetry analysis for the GOES-R satellite mission and building multi-agent AI automation systems at Agentic Innovations. I also led machine learning research for a Lockheed Martin-sponsored project, developing predictive models for aircraft landing assessments.
My expertise spans machine learning, embedded systems, and full-stack development, focusing on reinforcement learning, time-series forecasting, and AI-driven applications. I have worked on diverse projects, including developing secure web applications and creating robotic systems and FPGA-based designs.
My Experience
STRIDE Software Intern
During my three-month internship at ASRC Federal, I worked to advance satellite telemetry analysis. I developed a RAG model using PyTorch and HuggingFace to answer telemetry data queries, trained forecasting algorithms with Amazon Chronos and Prophet to predict satellite instrument errors, and built a web-based multi-agent model integrating Llama3 and Stable Diffusion for workflow simulations.
